
Anu Lehtonen studied her Bachelor of Arts 1998-2003 in the Turku Arts Academy, Finland, majoring in film. Then she continued for the Master of Arts in fine arts 2003-2006 in the University of Art and Design, Helsinki, Finland. She has directed traditional short films (for example Kangastus, 2002, shown in the Finnish television) as well as took part in the group exhibitions and film screenings both in Finland and abroad (for example FLIGHT/ Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Genova, Italy 2020, Art&Industrial Biennale, Christchruch, New Zealand 2002). She has worked in the Finnish television YLE (for example cinematography and lighting design) and in picture control in the Finnish Music Hall.
